The UD-701N-SP Special Edition combines a network player, an analog preamplifier, a headphone amplifier and various other functions with advanced USB DAC capabilities. Equipped with TEAC’s original TRDD 7 discrete DAC, it converts digital signals into analog signals with outstanding musical detail and clarity.
As a USB DAC and network player, the unit supports playback of 22.5MHz DSD and 384kHz/32-bit PCM. It can be used for a wide range of digital playback styles, from PC/Mac-based systems to audio server systems using NAS and streaming playback. It can also serve as the core of an audio system as a preamplifier with both analog and digital inputs. In addition to speaker listening in combination with a power amplifier, it also supports balanced headphone output using a 4-pin XLR jack.
The UD-701N-SP Special Edition brings the versatility and sonic performance of the UD-701N to a limited special-edition model for selected regions.
